New French restaurant in Auburn

We recently took a drive to Old Auburn Historic District to try out the new French & Eastern European restaurant, Josephine. The moment we stepped into Josephine it felt like we were back at our corner brasserie, filled with familiar patrons and classic round marble tables. It's small, chic, quaint and packs a punch when it comes to taste!

First let's talk about what matters, the FOOD! That week Josephine served up your classic no frills French dishes: Wood Grilled Steak Frites, Roasted Chicken, King Salmon, Lemon Tart... The seasonal menu changes weekly depending on local produce.

The meal was authentic, fresh and absolutely delicious! The cocktails were also refreshing and unique, along with a large wine selection.

Josephine is now our first pick when looking for an authentic French cuisine with a classic bistro feel!

One last thing. If you’d like to take your loved one on a date night at Josephine at a reasonable hour (before 9 PM…), we strongly recommend that you reserve at least 3 weeks in advance.
